A little flashback to Christmas morning. This is what happened: surrounded by both of their families-Thea thought she would open her last present before Christmas- then life changed forever.

” I dropped a box fake loud to throw her off, ” laughed Mr. Beast. “Then out comes the real surprise: a diamond ring.” With a heart full of wonder and eyes closed, Thea opened them to find Jimmy on one knee. Of course, her answer was an immediate YES!

It was not the ostentatious stage act that one would have expected from MrBeast; it was more intimate and very emotional. “My friends expected that the proposal would happen during the Super Bowl,” he joked, “but I wanted it to happen privately with her family present because that meant the world to her.”

Thea’s reaction? She was completely ecstatic. “Even if he had proposed with a plastic ring, I would have said yes. It really is about the person and not the grand gestures.”

The love story dates back to 2022 in South Africa, where two people got together for dinner at a mutual friend’s house and discussed science, gaming, and learning. “I fell in love with his brain,” she admitted. Mr. Beast’s reaction? “Within minutes of meeting her, I knew I wanted to date her.”

Time flies, and today the couple makes big plans to marry soon. Yet, chances are slim that anyone will be seeing much of all that pomp and pageantry. Instead, those go-getters dream of an intimate wedding on an island, away from all the noise and chaos of the world. “It’ll be private, close family and friends only,” said Thea.

Mr. Beast, who has a very tight schedule, really wants to make their wedding day memorable, but of course, the simplest meaningful imagining possible. “I do not usually take vacations, so it will be a time where everybody celebrates among loved ones.”
